Treat handoff as a product experience
The client should know where to go, what is current and what each file is for. The portal should be intentionally curated rather than a copy of the internal working directory.
Publish the brand system, not only a PDF
The full guidelines PDF can still be downloadable, but the most-used rules should also be browsable beside the assets themselves.
- Logo variants and minimum-size guidance
- Color values with copyable codes
- Typography hierarchy
- Photography and illustration principles
- Voice, tone and message examples
Keep the portal alive after launch
New campaigns, updated logos, seasonal photography and revised templates should flow into the same client destination. That reduces stale files circulating in inboxes and old shared links.
Make the agency-client boundary explicit
Agency users can manage drafts, versions, publishing and approvals while client viewers get a calm, approved view. The system supports both without forcing the client to learn the production workflow.
